Before I go ahead an pick Alexia because of the takedowns, let me read off who Amanda's last 3 losses. Virna Jandiroba who just fought for a title and frankly I think won, Tatiana Suarez who also recently fought for a title and only has a single loss and most recently to Gillian Robertson who has the most submission wins in this weight class and is fighting for a title next week. Amanda does have grappling holes, but they have been exposed by some of the literal best fighters on the planet not prospects. With that warning being said, Alexia is going to be the pick. We saw that she can take a shot in her last fight, we know she has good pressure and can wrestle and that may be all she needs here. This being in Vegas is worrisome because empty takedowns won't matter so Alexia will have to work on the ground.

Amanda Lemos

Amanda Lemos is a Muay Thai striker. For the most part she does a good job keeping her fights at Muay Thai range to try and avoid takedowns. She has plenty of power and solid BJJ but can lose the scrambles and transitions. She has been towards the top of the division for a while now and thats reflected in her slate of competition. She is coming off the decision Gillian Robertson who is fighting for the title in a few weeks.

Alexia Thainara

Alexia Thainara is a forward pressure striker who literally marches forward with her chin the sky. She only heads in one direction and you'll never see her take a step back. She does alternate between Robocop forward pressure and light on her toes movements, but ultimately she is throwing big and trying to get you out of there. if she cannot get you out, she moves into grappling where she has big takedowns and heavy top pressure. She is coming off the decision win over Bruna Brasil where she had the takedowns but was hit hard a few times so now we know she has a solid chin.
