Guys, I will say this for the 100th time. Steve Erceg is not that good. He earned a fraudulent title shot by kncking out a horrendous Matt Schnell, then had a decent performance in that title but has done nothing of note since. People hang onto the Pantoja fight, which was over 2 years ago, and just use that as logic to convince people Steve is good. He's not. He's tough, he has decent striking and decent wrestling, but his wins are garbage. After losing 3 in a row to actual competition, he almost gets KO'd by Ode Osbourne then loses a round to a 49 year old Tim Elliott. This is a different fight. Temirov has power, he has takedown defense and he has pressure. I don't see Steve winning here and I think he is one of the most over hyped non-prospects in recent history. With that being said, I am begging Ramazon to pick up the volume so Steve doesn't just dance his way to a busy decision.

Steve Erceg

People like to call Steve Erceg a striker, but the reality is that he is an accomplished wrestler who completed at a high level. I personally categorize him as a grappler and a slick grappler at that. His striking is quickly improving and he does have nice calves kicks with solid volume but he has a very wide stance with limited head movement. Outside of the stiff head, he moves fluidly and seizes opportunities on the ground. He is coming off the decision win over Tim Elliott where he was taken down twice but had the striking volume.

Ramazan Temirov

Ramazonbek Temirov is a lightening fast striker with short legs but crazy power. He is incredibly fast and has no issues marching forward to find the KO. He is creative on his feet and will mix in powerful overhands with spinning back kicks. You will not see much in the way of wrestling from him but the takedown defense looks decent. He has dog in him and it doesn't take a ton of tape study to see him get rocked, but push through. He is coming off the decision win over Charles Johnson where the power was the difference.
