Rizvan Kuniev is nothing special and we shouldn't be treating him as such. Yes he beat a ranked heavyweight in Jailton Almeida, but we have now learned that he is a bum and all Rizvan did in that fight was defend a handful of shit takedowns. Tyrell is definitely a bit old and past his prime, but I think he is the better striker here and while I don't think he is a better wrestler than Jailton, he may be able to set up a takedown or two because he has good hands. I totally get picking Kuniev here, especially in Abu Dhabi, but I'll go out on a limb and pick Fortune and before you comment “bro, Tybura was out striking him”, i'd argue that Tybura would be Kuniev as well.

Rizvan Kuniev

Rizvan Kuniev is a former steroid user who is now clean which you can see in the love handles. Juice or no juice, he is going to fight the same way, throw wild to close distance and grapple. He has decent leg kicks, but also likes winging punches. When he closes distance he looks to grind you to the cage and work you to the ground. On top he has solid control. We haven't seen a ton of offensive wrestling from him recently but thats because he has been fighting wrestlers, most recently Jailton Almeida where he defended all 8 takedown attempts.

Tyrell Fortune

Tyrell Fortune is a big boy wrestler with crazy power in his hands. Credential wise he wrestled in college and was a division 2 standout. Despite having very good offensive wrestling, he can be taken down and if he is, he kinda just survives. He really shines on his feet though with insane power and decent footwork for a big man. He has 11 KOs but can fight for a full 15 minutes if needed as we saw in his fight against Marcin Tybura where they accidentally announced Tybura as the winner.
