Apologies for the late article, but this card had so many changes throughout the week I just waited until before the event – and it turns out some cards I predicted in my video were cancelled anyways. The card takes place at the exact same time as the UFC OKC card so if you wanted to, you could put some of these fighters in your parlays. But the odds are very wide so be aware of that.

JOHNNY EBLEN (17-1) vs. IMPA KASANGANAY (20-6) – Interim Middleweight Championship

Eblen is the former Bellator and PFL Super Fights champion, and was on his way to defending the title until he tapped out to a submission with 10 seconds left in round 5 to Costello van Steenis. Since then he bounced back with a domination over Bryan Battle. Eblen is a wrestler but he has shown strong striking ability in the past. He went to a split decision with Impa in 2024 but in my opinion since then Impa has fallen off a bit. Kasanganay is a bit more well rounded but this is on short notice and I don't think he can defend the take downs for 5 rounds.

LEWIS MCGRILLEN (12-1) vs. RAFAEL DO NASCIMENTO (12-2) – Bantamweight

Lewis McGrillen will be doing all he can to keep this fight on the feet, and do Nascimento will be doing all he can to get the fight to the ground. McGrillen is an all-action fighter, and you draw a lot of comparisons from his game to Luke Riley. He is a very powerful striker but has found himself in some wars in his career. Rafael do Nascimento is a very talented grappler but he doesn't have great wrestling to get the fight down, or keep the fight on the feet. Against Shuya Kamikubo he spent a lot of time on bottom position but arguably was able to win rounds while being active with elbows and submission attempts from bottom position. On the feet he isn't completely useless but doesn't offer much of a striking threat at all. I think McGrillen should control where the fight goes and as long as he doesn't get hit with a silly knee bar or something he should be fine to throw hands.

CAOLAN LOUGHRAN (11-3) vs. JULIO ARCE (21-7) – Featherweight

I am picking Arce to win this as he is the much more well rounded fighter. Loughran isn't bad by any means but both his UFC and PFL runs have proven him to be one dimensional. He needs to wrestle to find success and Arce has proven to have some of the best take down defense in the weight class. He is 36 years old now which is cause for concern, but he should be able to do more damage against Loughran for 3 rounds.

JESUS PINEDO (25-8-1) vs. JOEY RUQUET (10-4) – Featherweight

This fight is very short notice for Ruquet as Pinedo has been booked against three opponents now. Pinedo is a former PFL champion. He is a 6'0″ tall striker with big power. His only problem has been takedown defense against elite wrestlers. Ruquet is a grappler and is coming off a big win but I don't think his wrestling is as good as the guys who have been able to take down Pinedo, and on the feet he gets pressured easily. Pinedo should get back to his winning ways here.

BIAGGIO ALI WALSH (4-1) vs. GAMID KHIZRIEV (4-0) – Lightweight

I think this is the PFL giving up on Biaggio. He has shown great striking but no take down defense at all. All Khizriev does is wrestle against the cage.

ANDREA VAZQUEZ (8-3) vs. ALEKSANDRA SAVICHEVA (7-2) – Women's Flyweight

I like Savicheva as she is the better striker. Both ladies have poor grappling and bad take down defense so maybe something weird happens there where we see some wrestling but if its on the feet Sacicheva should be scoring points.

JACKSON GLASS (3-0) vs. ZAK FLESSAS (2-1) – Featherweight

Glass is the Raul Rosas Jr. of the PFL. He is 18 years old and has been training full time. I am curious to see how he goes.
