Anna is a fun addition to the division, but this is too much too soon. Not only is this a short notice step up, its a short notice step up against one of the tougher women in the division. There is no way she moves forward and is able to walk down Dione. If Anna gets too reckless the Dione gets a takedown, if Anna isn't busy enough with the striking, ten Dione gets a takedowns. All roads lead to Dione getting a takedown and unfortunately for Anna, she may get a finish as well. I love Dione in this spot, but will keep an eye on Anna going forward.

Dione Barbosa

Dione Barbosa is a solid grappler who will throw tight strikes and look to get it to the ground. She is a Judoka so instead of shooting shots up the middle, she will look to tie up or clinch then work in trips or throws. Her striking isn't great but she is fast and it is enough to setup the clinch which then leads to takedowns. She is coming off the win over Melissa Gatto where Barbosa lost a point for a soccer kick to the head

Anna Melisano

Anna Melisano is long lean striker who loves to move forward and fire away. He can get a bit wild but does manage to stay technical. He is very aggressive both on the feet and on the ground. You won't see a bunch of takedowns from her but if she ends up on top she is immediately looking to finish. She is violent and dangerous but very green and early in her career.
