This is striker vs grappler for sure. Luana Santos' striking is pretty shit and if you implement a grappling game plan against Karol, she may defend some takedowns, but she won't do anything while defending them which means she is giving up minutes with her back against the cage. I was impressed with Luana against Melissa in her last fight. Sure, her striking was dog shit, but she had 3 takedowns, plenty of control and no issues with the physical size of Melissa. This fight could play out similarly, obviously Karol is very experienced and tough, but has no power so I am not worried about damage. I'm going to pick the dog in Luana, but this is definitely an over 2.5 spot when that line drops.

Karol Rosa

Karol Rosa is a pitter patter striker with solid footwork. She is a decision fighter with decent takedown offense and defense. She has 14 takedowns in 12 UFC fights and a solid 70% takedown defense. She does not have power but does have cardio and pressure. She is coming off the win over Nora Cornolle where she controlled the striking and worked in some wel timed takedowns.

Luana Santos

Luana Santos is a slick grappler who has both traditional takedowns and Judo thows. On the ground she is patient on top and does an amazing job of maintaining her positions but is mostly holding instead of advancing. She doesn't have the best striking but we have seen some big power from her. She relies very heavily on Judo throws but she has no problem getting into a slug fight. She is coming off the decision win over Melissa Croden where she had 2 takedowns and over 9 minutes of control.
