Ariane Carnelos is got good, she's just strong and even though women's MMA may not be where the men's divisions are, we are certainly passed the days where being strong is enough. Ketlen Souza will be able to pressure forward, get Ariane to overcommit on looping shots and then get takedowns. Even if we don't get takedowns and these women are going strike for strike, I think Ketlen is the better striker as well with more variety and combinations. Ketlen is the pick and if she gets it to the ground we may have a submission as well.

Ketlen Souza

Ketlen Souza is a pressure fighter with very heavy strikes and an occasional takedown. Everything she does is heavy. She throws big kicks, big punches, she will crush with elbows and is always looking to do damage. She is a very solid grappler when it gets to the ground but her takedowns aren't great so a takedown isn't a guarantee. She is coming off the decision win over Brunna Brasil where she relentlessly worked for takedowns but went 1 for 8.

Ariane Carnelossi

Ariane Carnelossi is very aggressive, very strong and willing to be in a fire fight. Her takedown defense is pretty bad and her offensive takedowns are not great but she is strong enough and gritty enough to make it work if she needs to. She is coming off the submission loss to Talita Alencar where the takedown defense was worse than we imagined.
