This is a pretty easy pick so imagine my surprise when I saw that Ivan was the favorite. I get the dude is dangerous, but he cannot defend takedowns and has no backup plan if he can't knock you out with one punch. Tuco isn't great but he's tough. We watched him eat some solid strikes in the Junior Tafa fight, but he took it, stuck to the gameplan and got the win. I expect this fight to look similar. Tuco is the pick and I bet on him at +165
Tuco Tokkos
Tuco, who's real name is George, is a grappler at his core who has expanded his skills. While he is a grappler, instead of forcing fights to the ground, he likes to wait for you to commit and then lowers his level and charges forward. He's Belal Muhammad-esque on top where he has control but also lots of pressure. His striking isn't great but he is tough and will absorb shots to get the takedowns. He has decent cardio, no power, but a straight forward gameplan. He is coming off the submission win over Junior Tafa where he took his beating to get it to the ground.
Ivan Erslan
Ivan Erslan is a powerful striker who can end your night with one punch. He can alternate between technical, low volume distance striker and high paced bully. He has decent movement and is relatively light on his feet. He likes to plot forward and then explode with counters. If he has you in trouble he is absolutely unrelenting. The problem is, he is essentially KO or bust at this level and KOs are hard to come by. He is coming off the submission loss to Jimmy Crute.
