Vince is on a 3 fight skid, but he is better than that record. He is a capable stirker who isn't afraid to mix it up. The problem though is that his takedown defense isn't the best and sometimes his forward pressure opens him up to be taken down. Colby has good enough wrestling to exploit those openings and should be able to squeak out a win, but I do think this is closer to a 29-28 split than it is a one sided beating.

Colby Thicknesse

Colby Thicknesse is a pretty well rounded guy and notably one of Alex Volkanovski's training partners. He is mostly a grappler who uses striking to close the distance and move to a clinch or the cage so he can work takedowns. His striking is very lose where he has low hands and bounces around. He can bring some power because of how he leaps in and throws heavy, but he is pretty wide and hittable. He is coming off the decision win over Josias Musasa where he had 2 takedowns.

Vince Morales

Vince Morales is a decent striker with ok boxing but makes up for any technical gaps with forward pressure and volume. He is always moving and always working something. He has legit power in his hands but he does tend to go to it often and can fizzle out if he doesn't find the finish. He was cut by the UFC in 2022 then racked up 5 wins on the regional scene to earn his way back into the UFC but has been struggling to find his footing with 3 losses in a row, most recently a decision to Raul Rosas jr.
