Listen, Alexander is the better fighter so he is the pick. I just need him to actually pull the trigger. if he doesn't he can be outworked. But he is faster, cleaner and more powerful on the feet. Rafa is likely the better wrestler, but Alex scrambles really well. Alex will be the pick but let's hope he isn't hit by a car the night before.

You may remember, but if you don't Alexander Hernandez' last fight was cancelled because of irregular betting. He was the favorite all week and then last minute odds flipped and he was a massive dog. They pulled the fight and very quickly Michael Johnson was rebooked but Alex wasn't which prompted people's minds to wonder. There were some rumors that he was injured and someone leaked that information, but that was just a rumor and nothing confirmed. I will break down this fight assuming everything is above board and Alex both then and now is fighting to win.

Rafa García

Rafa Garcia is a good grappler with heavy hands. He can be an absolute dog when he fights and even when he was completely gasses, he still pushed and still chases KOs. He has been different as of late. He has been a little inactive and doesn't seem to have that same fire. While he was once a grinding grappler with very real power in his hands, he seems to be a jabbing striker as of late who doen't like the grind. He is coming off the finish win over Jared Gordon at Noche UFC, but reminder, Jared was hit by a car the night before.

Alexander Hernandez

Alexander Hernandez is very well rounded and seems to be hitting his stride recently. He is very explosive with actual skills. He is a solid wrestler and a well rounded athlete. He is a little under sized for the division but he makes up for it with speed, cardio and power. He is on a 4 fight win streak with back to back KOs, most recently over Diego Ferreira at Noche.
