Max Griffin vs. Victor Valenzuela Pick, Prediction and Bets

GRIFFIN VS VALENZUELA

This is another weird fight to break down because 74% pf people are picking Valenzuela to win, but I have to imagine the only thing that is based off of is the fact that Griffin is old and people think he will be KO'd here. Other than that, why are you picking him? He hasn't fought anyone any good, we have no idea if he can wrestle, we have no idea if he can defend a submission and the last time he was at the Apex he was dropped 3 times and knocked out. I get that Max is 40, but he has some life left him in. I think Victor is probably the more aggressive striker here, but Max will fire back and potentially work in a takedown, we just don't know if he will get it or not. I'm leaning 40 year old Max Griffin here but not all picks are equal so don't go run away with that and spend money.

Max Griffin

Max Griffin is a powerful striker with some incredible knockouts and a total of 8 knockdowns in the UFC. He famously almost knocked Ramiz Brahimaj ear clean off his head. While he is primarily a striker, he also has solid grappling and averages more than one takedown per fight. He has plenty of dog in him and we saw that in his last fight against Chris Curtis where he was firing back, but just not the better striker.

Victor Valenzuela

Victor Valenzule is an aggressive and gritty striker. He is not very fast, but he does have power and absolutely loves a left to the body right to the head combination. He is always working forward and always throwing something. He is far more offensive than defense but in order for you to throw back, you will have to absorb a couple of shots. I don't want to call him chinny but he does get hit a good amount and seemingly rocked. He has kickboxing experience and carries that into the cage. While he might look like Dillon Danis, I assume he cannot grapple like him because I cannot find any meaningful tape of him utilizing wrestling or jiu jitsu.
