I like Mason Jones here. I get that Axel hs the cleaner striking, but Mason is an absolute dog and he's far better at wrestling. The combination of Mason's aggression and takedowns should have Axel fighting off his back foot if not his back. Mason is the pick and I have a half a unit on him at -125.

Mason Jones

Mason Jones is an aggressive striker with nice boxing and great takedowns. He has a fantastic 81% takedown defense and if he gets taken down het gets back up and immediately starts working. He also has his own solid takedowns with an average of more than 4 takedowns per fight and has 10 takedowns in his last 2 fights. He is coming off the finish win over Bolaji Oki where he was dropped early but survived.

Axel Sola

Axel Sola is a young French prospect. He is a solid boxer with a clean jab. he has an interesting stance with low hands, but he throws incredibly hard and does a great job pumping a jab then mixing in heavy leg kicks. His take down defense is just ok, but if it fails him, he has solid enough submission defense to stay safe and work up. He has evolved his game and has offensive takedowns as well. He is fast with plenty of explosive action. He is coming off a successful short notice UFC debut up in weight against Rhys Mckee.
