My gut reaction here was Brad. He's way faster and definitely more technically sound. But then I rewatched his last fight and his chin is full gone. He had problems early, tried to panic wrestle and then was ultimately finished. Unfortunately Eryk's chin is not much better so I am back to where I started and picking Brad. You really can't bet this fight. Its either a quick KO or a sloppy old man fight for 15 minutes where Eryk is pushing Brad to the cage and then Brad reverses it and we just play that game the while time.
Brad Tavares
Brad Tavares is an aging middleweight who still has the skills but not the chin. He is 16-11 in the UFC and fought pretty much every old head in the division. He is a solid striker with very good takedown defense at 81% and the Hawaaiin fighting spirit. He's not very dangerous but is well rounded and typically durable. He is starting to decline but can still hang with the low and mid tier guys. He is coming off the KO loss to Robert Brzchek.
Eryk Anders
Eryk Anders is a big athletic dude who he can wrestle and strike. He has competed at multiple sports at a high level and it shows. He mixes his punches and kicks together well and has ok speed. He does keep his hands too low which has gotten him in trouble in the past. His path to victory in most fights is his wrestling where he looks to take people down, keep them there and beat them up. He is rarely the most technical fighter in the cage but very often the most athletic and physical. He is coming off the spinning back elbow knockout to CLD.
