I bet against Cody in his last fight and even had Cam in the Safety Parlay, but that doesn't mean i think he sucks. I think he struggles to put things together, but the skills are there. Which is why after his last fight i said he is a perfect guy to keep on the roster and use as a measuring stick for prospects. If they beat him then they are UFC caliber fighters, if they don't, well then they aren't. Thats exactly what this fight is. Donte should win, he's a big prospect and has a ton of ability. But he was taken down by SD Dumas almost instantly. So we will find out this weekend if he's UFC ready or not. I think he is and even if Cody has early success, he likely fades.

Dante Johnson

Donte Johnson is an exciting fighter with solid striking. He does a great job jumping in and out of the pocket to land but avoid what comes back. He also does a great job throwing in volume. When he engages, he puts up numbers and can overwhelm people. He is a little twitchy but he's confident and can find finishes. He is a fast, athletic guy with monster slams who is very early in his career and evolving at a quick pace. He is coming off the finish win over SD Dumas where he was taken down immediately, but stayed incredibly calm for someone who only had 6 fights at the time.

Cody Brundage

Cody Brundage is a heavy handed kill or be killed wrestler. He has no problem coming forward, throwing heavy and then working in a takedown. He does have a pretty high level wrestling background that he brings into the cage. But as we all well know by now, he fades quickly and can be finished. The raw skills are there, but putting it together inside the cage is inconstant to say the least.
