The last time I broke down Diyar I read my raw notes from his first UFC fight. These are notes that i take while watching live and they capture exactly how i feel in the moment. The notes from his first UFC fight said “hittable loser bum”. I ended up ignoring those notes and picking him anyway. Take a wild guess what my notes are from his last UFC fight “hittable loser bum, like my last notes” thats exactly what they say. Fool myself once, shame on me, fool myself twice, also shame on me, i'm done shaming myself. Diyar is a hittable loser bum and loses this fight. Oh, and more specifically, he gasses and sucks on the ground and tis dude is good on the ground, simple.
Rafael Tobias
Rafael Tobias is a very good grappler with solid wrestling takedowns. He is big, strong and fast but his athleticism really shines on the ground. He has fantastic control as well as finishing ability on top. His striking is not very good and he's stuff, but he stays protected and works forward to get people to the ground. His ceiling may be limited, but he can have early UFC success of his grappling alone.
Diyar Nurgozhay
Diyar Nurgozhay was supposed ot be a huge prospect out of the world's largest pubis producer, but instead he is winless. On the regional scene though he has big hands, big wrestling and a very good resume for someone this early in their career. He is a wrestler by trade but has no issues mixing it up on the feet and finding finishes everywhere. We have seen him grind for 15 minutes as well as finish in under 1. He is coming off his second UFC loss, this time a submission to Uran Satlibaldev
