Anytime we get Chito as a dog we all play the same game. Tell ourselves he is dangerous, that he has a chin from the the heavens and that he is a great dog. Then he goes out there, does absolutely fucking nothing and looks pissed when he loses a decision. We are like abused women, we keep betting on him and then make excuses for our abuser. We blame the judges, we blame the refs, we blame everyone except ourselves for betting on a guy that doesn't even try. We are not doing it again, I don't need to see any “Chito LOTW” nonsense. While he stands there doing nothing, David Martinez, who is admittedly still green, will throw 100 strikes and sneak out a decision. Martinez is the pick.

Marlon Vera

Marlon “Chito” Vera is a Muay Thai striker who likes to fight ugly. He does a great job using all of his tools for a pretty versatile attack style. While he doesn't wrestle often, he is a submission threat if it gets to the ground. He does have a negative striking differential and is hittable but he has so much power and such a great chin that even when he is completely out struck his opponents' faces look like they have been through a meat grinder. He is coming off yet another decision loss where he can't believe he didn't get the nod.

David Martinez

David Martinez is a very mobile striker. He moves a lot like Dominic Cruz where he is constantly moving and changing angles. He does a nice job picking his shots and setting things up. He can be low volume, but because of his movement you almost don't notice. He has great leg kicks to slow down his opponents and solid power when he throws. the movement is incredibly beneficial both offensively and defensively. He is coming off the busy win over Rob Font where youth was on his side.
