Imanol Rodriguez is technically undefeated but anyone who watches the Ultimate Fighter knows he did lose on his season. When I watch fights and break down tape, I look for losses. I feel like you learn more from a loss than a straight forward win. You can see if a fighter has quit in them, or hated pressure, can't defend a takedown, whatever it is. His loss to Morales was close, but was likely determined by a well timed takedown and control. What I loved from that fight is seeing that Imanol never got frustrated, never stopped working for a win and never took his foot off the gas. Thats exactly what you want to see from a young kid in his first loss. He beats Borjas here. He is the faster and more powerful striker, I know Borjas is solid but Imanol should be slightly better everywhere.

Imanol Rodriguez

Imanol Rodriguez is a very fast and clean striker who has one punch KO power. The speed from his hands is impressive as are the combinations. He has an interesting stance where he protects his chin but is always leaning forward which removes any reach advantage he may have. His takedown defense is not great, but his get up game is. He will occasionally work in an offensive takedown but most times doesn't need to.

Kevin Borjas

Kevin Borjas is a clean striker who works in combinations well. He will use everything from straight strikes to low leg kicks all while plotting forward. He can grapple if he needs to, but more often than not he will actually let people stand up and avoid the ground completely. For the most part he is a striker with very nice combinations, good power and mid level takedown defense. He is coming off the decision loss to Sumaderji where he was about 17 steps behind in the striking.
