This is a great fight and a candidate for fight of the night. Both of these quys have no quit in them and will fight until their bodies give up. I do think Angel is likely the tougher of two with Santiago being the overall better fighter. My only real concern here is the lack of decisions from Santiago because I just don't see him finishing Angel and if he doesn't finish him, that means we need him ready for a full 15 minutes. We literally have no clue if he has that kind of cardio, we've never seen it and he's never needed it. You may say “well Angelo he does have a decision as an amateur” and I'd say, shut up and go to bed. That was an amateur fight and those rounds were only 3 minutes. I'm going to stick with Santiago here, but he wouldn't be the first flashy finisher who lost to a dog. *cough* Malcolm Wellmaker *cough*.
Santiago Luna
Santiago Luna, more affectionately known as Border Boy, is a tough gritty kid with sneaky power and a never say die style. He is the physical embodiment of the Mexican fighting spirit. He is very athletic and has an incredible chin. Technique wise he kinda does it all. He can strike, he can grapple and while he needs to clean a lot of things up, he is definitely a tough night out for most people. He is coming off the KO win over Quang le in his UFC debut.
Angel Pacheco
Angel Pachecho is one of only 2 people to get an official UFC contract after losing on the Center Series and so far that hasn't quite panned out. Style wise he is a very busy striker who pressures forward and lands at an incredible rate. You will see plenty of finishes on his record but those are not one punch KOs. they are volume based. His takedown defense is ok, his offensive takedowns are almost non-existent but he is an absolute dog. He is coming off the decision loss to an angry leprechaun where he landed well early but was quickly outwrestled.
