Michal is fast as hell and hits incredibly hard. Marc-Arndre's chin is seemingly on the way out and this could be a very straight forward KO win for Michal. But Marc has some dog in him and Michal doesn't have much of a ground game. The real problem for Marc isn't his skills or his durability, its his lack of danger. Sure, he dented Bruno Silva's head, but that version of Bruno has been checked out for years. I think Michal is just too dangerous for too long for Marc-Andre to take a clear win. Both of these guys have multiple performance bonuses so I am expecting a sneaky fun fight. The pick for now will be Michal, but when we get closer to the fight, be sure to check back for an update.
Michal Oleksiejczuk
Michal Oleksichuck is a very good striker with fast hands and a ton of pressure early. He has power as well with 8 KOs in his 9 UFC wins. While he's dangerous on his feet, he does have grappling holes and can fade as the fight goes on. He is coming off the sub 1 mnute KO win over Gerald Meerschaert
Marc-Andre Barriault
Marc-Andre Barriault is a well rounded fighter with solid kickboxing, takedowns and jiu jitsu. He is typically looking to pressure forward and wear you down on your feet. He has impressive striking volume with almost 6 significant strikes landed per minute, but he is also hit with about the same. He is not a particularly powerful striker but he is busy enough and tough enough to grind out wins. He is coming off the decision loss to Shara Bullet which earned the both fight of th enight bonuses
