I fully understand how accomplished Figgy is and genuinely believe he is one of the best fighters in the world at this weight class. I also think that he is literally the easiest top 10 fight in the division for Umar. Figgy has his best performances when he can bully forward and get takedowns. There is not a world that any of us live in where Figgy can bully Umar and dictate the wrestling. I think Umar wins this fight somewhat easily and does so at striking range.

Umar Nurmagomedov

Umar Nurmagomedov is exactly the type of fighter you expect him to be with that last name. He has 7 fights in the UFC with 28 takedowns, 44 minutes of control time, 2 submissions and a standing knockout. He uses kicks really well to stay out of range and then he comes charging in with his wrestling and looks for takedowns. If he misses the first, he will transition to the second and has amazing chain wrestling. He is coming off the competitive win over Mario Bautista where the scorecards say 30-27 but it was much closer than that.

Deiveson Figueiredo

Deiveison Figuerdo is the former flyweight champion of the world who moved up to Bantamweight later in his career. Since moving up to Bantamweight we have seen cardio improvements and a much higher focus on wrestling. He has 13 takedowns in his last 6 fights which is more than his previous 10 fights combined. He is a well rounded guy who is dangerous everywhere. He has power in his hands, well timed takedowns, a BJJ blackbelt and some dog in him. He is coming off the underdog win over Montel Jackson.
