Joanderson Brito vs. Melsik Baghdasaryan

RITO VS BAGHDASARYAN

This is definitely a rebound fight for Brito. While Melsik is a dangerous striker, the grappling holes are wide and cannot be ignored. Brito can be unreliable and might be dumb enough to try and strike, but I'm going to go ahead and trust him to turn into a Nurmagomedov here while looking to get back into the win column.

Joanderson Brito

Joanderson Brito is a fast and athletic grappler with solid top pressure and a wide array of submissions. His striking isn't very technical but he will come forward and throw bombs. Big wide punches and heavy kicks with almost no regard for what comes back his way. But even though he is comfortable striking, he will look to get it to the ground and work from there. He averages almost 3 takedowns per fight but he can be taken down if you pressure him. That was never more evident than in his last fight where he was held down by Pat Sabatini for 14 minutes.

Melsik Baghdasaryan

Melsik Baghdasaryan is a very aggressive striker who is always moving forward. He has a long professional kickboxing background before MMA and you can see those techniques in the Octagon. He has diverse striking and does a great job mixing things up. He will go to the body, he will use kicks and puts it all together really well. His forward pressure, power and diversity is very fun to watch but he does have grappling holes. He is coming off the KO loss to Jean Silva
