I like Morgan a lot. He breaks the typical French fighter mold. He doesn't dance on the outside and avoid the chaos, he mixes it up immediately and has no problem flowing with a striking or grappling match. I also like Melk and his current win streak is pretty impressive, but i think that streak comes to an end here. Morgan should be bigger, stronger, faster, more athletic and more well rounded in this matchup. As long as he doesn't get caught in something on a takedown entry or scramble, he will be fine. Morgan is the pick and I am pretty confident in that.

Morgan Charriere

Morgan Charriere is an explosive striker who is light on his feet and stalks his opponents before leaping into punches and working control. He does a very good job of being all the way in or all the way out of range. when he's in he likes to tie up so he can work knees and control, when he's out he will stalk you and then leap into his punches. He has solid takedown defense and a few takedowns of his own. He is very good everywhere with fantastic cardio. He is coming off the win over Nate Landwehr where he had 2 takedowns and a knockdown.

Melk Costa

Melk Costa is a well rounded guy with creative striking and solid grappling. His takedown defense is not great, his offensive takedowns are just ok, but his scrambles are incredible. You will see him work for takedowns often, but he doesn't need them in most matchups. He has powerful hands and solid technique. He strings together combinations well and will even mix in spinning attacks. He is coming off the decision over Julian Erosa where he was taken down a few times but did outwork him.
