I have no idea why 75% of people on Tapology are picking Marek. Either I'm stupid or 600 of you are. Marek is bigger and a good grappler, but Denzel is a better wrestler, a better striker and a better athlete. I'm going red, white and blue here. i think Denzel lands big shots which forces a desperate takedown attempt that he takes advantage of. Denzel is the pick and depending on what these odds are when they drop, I may bet it.

Marek Bujlo

Marek Bujlo is a big boy grappler who will strike as little as possible and then rush forward to get a takedown. You won't see him shoot a ton of shots but you will see him push you against the cage and then drag you to the ground. He is definitely a better grappler than most heavyweights, but not as good of a striker. On the ground he will seamlessly transition from strikes to submissions and doesn't care what you do, he's looking for a finish.

Denzel Freeman

Denzel Freeman is a fun heavyweight who will knock you out, throw you, submit you and fight you everywhere. His highlights are impressive. he has a powerful head kick and clean boxing. If you pressure him, he will lower his level and shoot. If he gets you against the cage he will not just drag you to the ground, he will throw you. He will attempt everything from laterals to shoulder throws. He is a high level wrestler with great power.
