Most people who will pick Bekzat here will be lazy about it and just cite the fact that Aleksandre's lone loss was a KO. But what they will fail to mention is that was 10 years ago and up in weight. While I do think there is a very valid argument to be made that Bekzat can win this fight i don't think you can just say he hits hard and Aleksandre has been knocked out. I am going to pick Alexandre here, because I think the Greco wrestling will suit him well, but he definitely needs to close distance and not fight at range. Likely no bets here.
Bekzat Almakhan
Bekzat Almakhan is a very good fighter. He has tight dangerous striking and excellent offensive wrestling. He is smooth on his feet and fires away in the pocket. As soon as his opponents are comfortable in a kickboxing match, he transitions to body locks and singles to get it to the ground. He does lack some control on the ground but has no shortage of cardio to restart the exchange. He is very dangerous with 14 kKOs, the most recent of which was over Brad Katona a few months back.
Aleksandre Topuria
Aleksandre Topuria is famously Ilia Topuria's older brother. They look alike and honestly fight somewhat similiarly. like his brother he is a high level wrestler who has been wrestling since a small child. Striking wise he has powerful and creative stikes. He isn't as technical as you would like but he meake sup for clean technique with power, pressure and a willingness to engage. He is a high paced guy who fights with a chip on his shoulder. He is coming off the decision win over a short notice Colby Thicknesse
