My God is this card full of landmines. Chris is too good t be a 2-1 underdog. I agree, Ismael should win, but Chris is tough as hell, he comes forward, he shoots takedowns, he doesn't quit. Ismael is very good and should win this fight but you could argue he just quit on the stool. I'm going to pick him here but don't be surprised if War Taco is Jacob's lock of the week.
Ismael Bonfim
Ismael Bonfim is a wild striker with very real power and no regard for straight punches. He comes forward and throws every single punch as if he is throwing a baseball. He will mix in flying knees and the occasional takedown. When he takes his time he can be accurate, powerful and have solid defense. He has actual boxing experience and high level BJJ. He is coming off the finish loss to Nazim Sadykov where after a nasty head kick, he couldn't answer the bell to the second round.
Chris Padilla
Chris Padilla is a pretty well rounded guy who likes to come forward, briefly strike, move to a clinch and work a takedown. He's not great at anything but he does pressure forward and he is pretty durable. He's very explosive, especially with his takedowns. He has plenty of activity and plenty of cardio. He is coming off the split decision win over Jai Herbert where he backed up early and struggled with the length.
