This is a late addition to the card, but both of these guys where scheduled for November clashes so I will go ahead and assume they're in shape and ready to go. But in shape for Miles and in shape for Daniel are different. Miles will come out hot, have early success, then fade and Daniel will take over. This is a relatively evenly matched fight, both guys can wrestle, both can strike but one has the better cardio. Daniel will be the cleaner striker and as long as he avoids a random haymaker, I expect him to win a decision. This could be another perfect spot for the Miles Johns +3.5 that has made us money in the past.
Miles Johns
Miles Johns is a strong wrestler with heavy hands and explosive speed. He is a high level wrestler who doesn't always use his wrestling. Like so many others, he knocked a few people out and started chasing power instead of using all of his skills. His cardio is questionable but for at least one and a half rounds you will have a guy who comes forward and brings the heat. He is coming off the close loss to Jean Matsumoto where he was aggressive early, wrestled, but did end up fading and starting throwing from the hip.
Daniel Marcos
Daniel Marcos is an effective striker with power and accuracy. He does a nice job stringing together combinations and marching forward. He will throw one twos and follow up with flying knees and elbows. His takedown defense is solid at 84% and with 8KOs and 9 decisions we know he's dangerous but also has the cardio for 3 rounds. He is coming off the close loss to Montel Jackson where he had 3 takedowns but couldn't get his hands going.
