I'm a big Waldo fan. I even picked him to beat Pavlovich, and you know what, he looked a lot better in that fight than most people gave him credit for. My logic was that he is athletic and if he pumps a jab he can sneak one out. Instead he seemed a little hesitant and and didn't fully pull the trigger on his striking or grappling. I think he falls into the same trap here. Ante is fast as hell and hits hard. He also shoots real takedowns and has great grappling. Ante is the better fighter, the more experienced fighter and soon, the top 10 ranked fighter. Ante is the pick and I love him so much a dog here that i put half a unit on him at +121.
Waldo Cortes-Acosta
Waldo Cortes-Acosta is a fun athletic striker who is tough as nails with real power. He lands an impressive almost 6 significant strikes per minute and has showed us on numerous occasions how physically tough he is. We have seen him out-strike and out-grapple his opponents. He is not a fighter by trade but because of his athleticism, he adopted quickly. He is coming off the decision loss to Serghei Pavlovich.
Ante Delija
Ante Delija is a rare PFL standout who has broken through and gotten a quality UFC win. Style wise he is a pretty fun heavyweight. He throws bombs, he shoots takedowns. He is a very big 6'5. He has great control. He is a very good fighter and if he wasn't 35, would be an incredible prospect. He is notably Tom Aspinall's training partner. He is coming off the KO win over Marcin Tybura we saw how insanely fast his hands can be.
