I am a huge Jailton guy. His wrestling at heavyweight is literally the best we have ever seen. I fully understand we have had some great heavyweight wrestlers like Randy Couture, Brock Lesnar, DC, but credentials aside, no one is doing to people what Jailton is. No one can stop Jailton's takedowns and when he does take you down, he immediately looks to finish. Volkov is the better MMA fighter but Jailton is just too damn dominant of a wrestler, I think he gets Volkov down and immediately has him in trouble. Jailton is the pick and I think he deserves the next title shot with a win here.

Alexander Volkov

Alexander Volkov is a top 10 heavyweight and has been for 7 years. He is a very good striker and a high IQ fighter who is fast and has volume. He picks his shots well and will adapt in a fight. He is not a big power guy but his volume and timing suit him well enough to get the occasional finish. He is a very durable guy who has fought the literal best in the division since his UFC debut in 2016. He is coming off the decision loss to Ciryl Gane which was an absolute robbery.

Jailton Almeida

Jailton Almeida is a wrestling beast. He has powerful hands and incredible grappling. All but one of his wins are by stoppage and thats because of his nonstop pressure. He will come in hot, and relentlessly work for takedowns. Once he is on the ground he will chase submissions and hit you in the transitions. He has only ever been to one decision in the UFC and even that was a dominant showcase. He is coming off the TKO win over Serghei Spivak
