I love Mateusz Rebecki. The guy is a savage, he never stops moving forward and is all heart. He just lost to Chris Duncan but if he wore damage better, he wins that fight. He landed more strikes, more significant strikes and had the only takedowns. Genuinely Mateusz is one of the best fighters in this division. He has every individual skill and then a savagery about him that could have him in the conversation with people like Dan Hooker, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje. The only issue is that this dude starts swelling and bleeding from a dirty look, let alone 100 significant strikes over 15 minutes. Everything in me wants to pick him because he can wrestle, he does hit hard, i know he won't quit, but all it will take is some activity from Ludovit early and then we have a bloody mess. I have to pick Ludovit because he is a clean striker who can cut Rebecki up while staying safe, but Rebecki is a greta dog here and I hope these odds widen so i can lay down a +3.5
Mateusz Rebecki
Matesz Rebecki is a relentless grappler who marches forward with giant 1-2 punches before he starts diving at legs. Even though he is a grappler, he will absolutely hang around for a striking match. Every single punch he throws is with intent and when he gets you to the ground he is looking for a finish. He can be a bit reckless leaving him open on the feet and giving his opponents space to work up on the ground. He has solid cardio considering his pace, but he can be a bit sloppy. He is coming off another war, this time with Chris Duncan.
Ludovit Klein
Ludovit Klein is a very good striker. He's smooth, fast and accurate. He does a really nice job keeping fights technical and hiding kicks behind his jab. He never throws anything lazy or gets out of position. He has a solid 76% takedown defense that was 90% before his Gamrot fight. He will look to offensively wrestle if he is losing the striking exchanges. He's coming off that decision loss to Gamrot where despite defending 5 takedowns, he gave up 6.
