Nasrat Haqparast vs. Quillan Salkilld

HAQPARAST VS SALKILLS

This is a nice addition to the card and should be a fun scrap. Both of these guys put out striking volume and both are more than capable of grappling. I was surprised to see Nasrat as the early dog. Quillan is obviously a talented striker and grappler, but so is Nasrat. I think Quillan may be the more technical striker, but Nasrat's volume will be a problem. The way Quillan wrestled against Yanal because of the pressure won't work with Nasrat. He's defense is too good and he will work in his own takedowns. Not to mention Nasrat seemingly wins every close decision he's in whether he should or not. So Nasrat is the pick, right now he is a slight dog, but if that widens, I will bet him.

Nasrat Haqparast

Nasrat Haqparast is a solid striker with high volume. He lands more than 6 signifigant strikes per minute with a very good 84% takedown defense. When he can push the pace and find a rhythm, he is a very hard guy to beat but if you stay busy and stay in his face you can have success because even though he is landing more than 6 significant strike rper minute, he is also being hit with more than 6. He is coming off a sketchy decision over Esteban Ribovics

Quillan Salkilld

Quillan Salkilld is a good striker who uses kicks really well to manage range and work the body. As soon as you are comfortable striking with him, he will lower his level and shoot. He's a BJJ blackbelt and overall a very well rounded guy who can fight at distance or in the pocket. He is perfectly fine with an ugly fight but at times can chase a finish instead of settling in. He is coming off the decision win over Yanal Ashmouz where he was backed up early so started shooting takedowns.
