Stephanie Luciano vs. Ravena Oliveira

LUCIANO VS OLIVEIRA

Ravena can definitely work in some takedowns and Luciano's takedown defense didn't hold up in her last fight, but this isn't that simple. I think Stephanie will be faster and cleaner almost everywhere and the reason her takedown defense struggled in her last fight, was the relentless pressure of Sam Hughes, not necessarily a skill gap. I have no idea what Ravena has been doing with her 2 year layoff, but it almost doesn't matter. I think Stephanie stays busy, lands clean and wins a decision.

Stephanie Luciano

Stephanie Luciano is a busy come forward striker who wants to close the distance, get you to the cage and work you to the ground. If she gets you to the ground she will camp out and rack up control time while staying safe and occasionally working in some elbows. She is not dangerous but she is always moving forward and has plenty of cardio. She is coming off the loss to Sam Hughes where the volume was there and the striking was clean, but she couldn't get off her back.

Ravena Oliveira

Ravena Oliveira, also known as Ravena Kenoudy or Maria Oliveira, is a Muay Thai striker with grinding takedowns. She likes to stalk forward with low hands, then enter the pocket with a flurry of punches and teep kicks before working a clinch and potentially a takedown. She is very fast and has plenty of volume. She has a 100% finish rate, but doesn't seem as dangerous as her record. She definitely throws with intent, but it seems to be mostly pressure that is breaking her opponents. She is coming back after 2 years away and a decision loss in her UFC debut.
