Danny Barlow was just knocked out by Casper the ghost and at the time, it wasn't the best look. But it turns out, Casper can throw hands. With that loss aging well and Djoden's not, I can understand how we got to this line. The problem with that logic however is that Djorden didn't look that bad in his loss. He landed at incredible volume and got a takedown. Danny doesn't fight as well backing up as he does moving forward and if Djordan zombies his way forward with the volume he had in his last fight, he could have success which would force a bad shot from Danny and he could steal a round or two. I am still going to lean Danny Barlow here, but this could be a parlay buster and when i get odds like this and a tough underdog, i love the +3.5.
Danny Barlow
Danny Barlow is a rangy striker with very real power. He likes to work at range but will enter the pocket with lead uppercuts and hooks. Even though he has a bunch of early finishes, he does take his time and wait for the shot. He is composed and doesn't headhunt. He has powerful kicks as well and is all around a dangerous guy. He doesn't like getting pressure and when he does he tends to shell up and shoot takedowns. On the ground he has solid BJJ and positining. He is coming off the knockout loss to a pale Giraffe named Sam Patterson.
Djorden Santos
Djorden Santos is a well rounded guy but while he is ok everywhere, he is just ok. He is not particularly dangerous or great at any one thing. Striking is ok with nice leg kicks, wrestling is ok with better takedown defense than offense and ultimately wherever the fight goes he will be prepared but someone who is very good at one thing, like a very good striker or a very good wrestler, can have some success. He is coming off a busy decision loss to Ozzy Diaz where he had a takedown and 131 significant strikes.
