Bruno Silva vs. Hyun Sung Park

SILVA VS PARK

I get that Park is a prospect and that his only loss was on short notice to a top 5 guy, but while that loss is credible, his wins are not. This is essentially the same breakdown i had 2 weeks ago when I talked about Willeycat vs. Joo Sang Yoo. One guy has a fancy record against absolute bums and the other doesn't have the fanciest record but does have a handful of quality wins at this level. I am going to pick Bruno here. I know he can grapple, i know he can strike and i don't think Park is nearly as good as Josh Van or Manel Kape. I think Bruno makes this a dirty fight and Park won't handle that pressure well.

Bruno Silva

Bruno Silva is a well rounded guy with solid power, strong wresting and nasty submissions. He's literally good everywhere. He isn't clean or technical, but he is very tough and likes to make fights ugly. He has incredible power and can put anyone in the division on their ass. He s riding a 2 fight skid, but those losses are to Manel Kape and future title challenger Joshua Van.

Hyun Sung Park

Hyun Sung Park is a very slick grappler who has one single gameplan in mind. Plot forward, find his opening and get it to the ground. He is absolutely a finisher and snatches things up very quickly. He is patient on his feet before finding his openings to close the distance and work in a takedown. He is very dangerous but his striking can use some work. He is coming off the short notice loss to Tatsuro Taira
