This should be a Julia win, but any time you get a craft veteran, especially in the women's division, you need to worry about it. I think Julia is the better striker, I think she is faster and cleaner and because of that, I think she wins here. I don't trust her enough at these odds to do anything, so the over 2.5 is likely the safest bet on the slate.

Julia Polastri

Julia Polastri is a very well rounded fighter who has slick striking and soiid grappling. Her striking technique is clean with plenty of straight punches and kicks. She has power for the division but doesn't chase. She does get taken down pretty easily but when she is on the ground she has solid BJJ and will hunt for submissions. She is coming off the decision loss to Lupita Godinez where she was taken down 5 times and still almost won the 3rd.

Karolina Kowalkiewicz

Karolina Kowalkewicz is a good kickboxer with solid technique and grit. She averages almost 6 significant strikes per minute and has maintained a solid 74% takedown defense. She has had a long career with a lot of ups and downs. It wasn't too long ago that she fought for a title, shortly after that she hit a 4 fight losing streak then a nice 4 fight winning streak and now back to to skid. The reality is that Karolina is a very skilled fighter who has fought the who's who of the division. She is coming off the decision loss to Denise Gomes where she couldn't keep up with the striking.
