I like Jafel and he has shown us that he has some dog in him, but Clayton has shown us that and more. Clayton is the better wrestler here and just as good of a grappler. Clayton is also stronger, faster and more aggressive. We saw he has a chin and doesn't back down. I like Clayton here, especially as a dog so I threw a half a unit on him at +103.

Jafel Filho

Jafel Filho is a fast paced guy who will engage in a fire fight or look to work takedowns. He can get wild with his striking but he's fast and throws heat. His takedown defense is solid and he has offensive takedowns of his own. He is mostly looking to strike early but if you pressure him he doesnt like it, and will start to grapple. He is coming off the close loss to Allan Nascimento where he had 4 takedowns.

Clayton Carpenter

Clayton Carpenter is a very slick grappler who will take wild chances hunting for submissions. He is a very fast paced guy who rushes forward and immediately sets the tone. He is always hunting for a finish and even though he is only 8-0 as a professional, he has a ton of competition experience and has won both the gi and no gi jiu jitsu world championships. He is coming off the decision loss to Tagir Ulanbekov where he was taken down 3 times but showed us how busy he can be off of his back.
