I think Yana is a great dog here and I am going to lean her to win. I like Macy a lot and think she is a fun fighter, but she has definitely evolved from a long Muay Thai fighter to a grappler and in this fight, if she is looking to move forward and wrestle her way to a win, i think she will be in a tough spot. Yana is a very good striker with fantastic footwork and a much improved takedown defense. I am picking Yana here and if this line keeps taking off, the +3.5 bet might be solid as well.
Macy Chiasson
Macy Chiasson is tall and long and she uses that length really well to jab you up and work her Muay Thai striking. She has a positive striking differential and ok power. If you get past her length you can have success staying in her face. But when she can keep distance she is very good and technical. She has added grappling to her gameplan which has proven to be beneficial with 12 takedowns in her last 5 fights. She is coming off the decision loss to Ketlen Viera she was slightly behind on the striking and couldn't get get the grappling going.
Yana Santos
Yana Santos is a high volume striker who lands almost 5 significant strikes per minute. She does not have a ton of power but she has plenty of output and mixes things up well. She has nice kicks and uses them to maintain distance. She has offensive wrestling as well which we've seen her lean on in the past, but it does come with a low 50% accuracy and a a middle of the road 50% takedown defense. She is coming off the straight forward win over Miesha Tate
