I think Edmen Shabazyan wins this the same way he should've won the Gerald Mearschart fight. If you remember that fight, he beat the piss out of Meerschart and then was an idiot because he was so tired from beating his ass. Before he death gassed, he defended 5 takedowns and landed more than twice as many strikes. Andre obviously has great BJJ, but Edmen's striking is lightyears ahead and as long as he doesn't' even entertain the grappling. Whoever wins this fight does so in dominant fashion and the best play may be fight does not go the distance.
Edmen Shahbazyan
Edmen Shahbazyan is a very good striker who is well rounded and has impressive kicks. He can be taken down though because he is long and he plants his feet before throwing. His takedown defense is listed at at 66% and if he is taken down he ends up in trouble because he doesn't scramble well enough to get back up or threaten enough to get a submission. He has solid offensive wrestling though with almost 2 takedowns per fight. He is coming off the decision win over Andre Petroski where he had him rocked but was taken down twice.
Andre Muniz
Andre Muniz is a BJJ killer with decent striking and ok wrestling. He hits pretty hard and has some clean striking entries. He won't shy away from a striking match either but his chin has started to fail him. He will take real wrestling shots and even though he avoids the BJJ nerd butt scoot, i think we can call him a BJJ nerd. He is coming of the first round KO loss to Ikram Aliskerov
