Chris Gutierrez looked solid in his last fight and played the outside striking game well. But he still had wrestling holes and i doubt they have been filled in since then. Farid is an underrated striker and very good wrestler. He can probably beat Chris everywhere and likely wins this fight. Chris needs to lay into the leg kicks early to restrict the movement, I just don't know if he will so Farid is the pick.
Farid Basharat
Farid Basharat is a well rounded wrestler with solid striking. He has a very loose stance where he bounces on his toes and throws a lot of kicks. He is very mobile and constantly working side to side. He has the wide Tae Kwon Do stance that helps him move well and stay defensively sound. He is a great wrestler as well who averages almost 4 takedowns per fight. He is coming off the decision win over Victor Hugo.
Chris Gutierrez
Chris Gutierrez is a good kickboxer with great low kicks and cage control. He has good volume with almost 5 significant strikes landed per minute and solid cardio to keep the pace. There are no secrets as to what his gameplan is. He wants to plot forward with leg kicks to slow you down and then straight punches to try and put you out. His takedown defense is listed at 70% but he has been taken down 7 times in his last 4 fights.
