This is grappler vs grappler and in those cases you run down a comparison chart. Who is the better actual grappler, in that case i think Ramiz is, but in MMA, they are even. Then who is the better striker, neither is very good but Ramiz might have some power, then you ask who is the better wrestler and to me, thats the most important thing because the better wrestler can determine where the fight goes. In that case, it's Austin, so Austin is the pick. Jiu Jitsu off your back and Jiu Jitsu from top are very different things so Austin with the takedowns and the top control should get the win.
Ramiz Brahimaj
Ramiz Brahimaj is an accomplished grappler who even though he is an accomplished grappler, can get stuck on his back. When he strikes he has good power in his hands and does have some success, but not enough to win there. All 12 of his wins are by finish with 11 of them being by submission. He is definitely a finish or bust fighter and in his last two outings, he found the finish.
Austin Vanderford
Austin Vanderford is a good old fashion American Wrestler. He comes forward, strikes for a few seconds and then shoots takedowns. He's not particularly fast, but he does grind and he does control well. He does a nice job shooting and reshooting but if he cannot take you down, he can struggle. The knock on him is for sure his chin. He is a tough guy and not a quitter, but his chin isn't always up to the task. He is coming off the TKO finish over Nikolay Veritennikov in his UFC debut.
