Junior Tafa vs. Ibo Aslan

Junior Tafa spent a lot of time getting in shape for his last fight. He physically looked fantastic but nothing changed on the fighting skills side. He will look good in pure striking exchanges and then completely fall apart. This is definitely a perfect matchup for him, but even with a favorable matchup I don't know if he can win. But i'm actually going to slightly lean his direction here. Because as bad as Junior is, so is Ibo if he doesn't knock you out early. Junior has a chin and is a good enough striker to survive early. Even if he is taken down, Ibo isn't good enough on the ground to do anything. So i an picking Junior here, but not betting. If he is still a dog come fight night and his brother won earlier, then maybe we jump on it live.

Junior Tafa

Junior Tafa is a kickboxer with power, footwork and a willingness to engage. He is Justin Tafa's younger brother but built very differently. He is long and lean instead of short and stocky and recently dropped down to light heavyweight. He has power, a decent chin and clean striking technique. The problem is that his takedown defense lacks and there is an obvious hole to exploit. He is coming off the submission loss to Tuco Tokkos where the takedown defense failed him again

Ibo Aslan

Ibo Aslan is a very heavy handed striker who can knock you out with half power and short hooks. He is a bit wide and sloppy, but it doesn't matter, he is all power and has plenty of it in both his hands and feet. He isn't looking to wrestle but he will sneak in the occasionally body lock trip where he then tees off on top. He does have some cardio issues which is why if he wins, he wins early. He is coming off the decision loss to Billy Elekana where he wasn't as aggressive as usual.
