What I always like to point out about the high volume takedown stats is that it means opponents are getting up. 4 takedowns means his opponent got up 4 times which in this fight means that he will never truly be out of trouble. Ivan Erslan is a powerful striker who can end your night with one punch. He can alternate between technical, low volume distance striker and high paced bully. He has decent movement and is relatively light on his feet. He likes to plot forward and then explode with counters. If he has you in trouble he is absolutely unrelenting. The problem is, he is essentially KO or bust at this level and KOs are hard to come by. He is coming off a decision loss to Navajo Stirling where he was taken down by a kickboxer.
