Full disclosure, i think Jack Jenkins is overrated. I think he gets too much credit for leg kicks from 5 years ago. I do however also think he wins this fight. If Ramon is just going to bomb overhands chasing power, then Jack will absolutely piece him up. Not having to worry about takedowns will only make Jack's striking that much better. This is a perfect matchup.
Jack Jenkins
Jack Jenkins is a solid striker with real power and solid takedown defense. He pressures forward and backs you up against the cage where he will look for control. Overall he is a powerful guy with multiple ways to win a fight. People like to highlight his striking but he has 6 fights in the UFC with 9 takedowns total. His takedown defense however is a bit questionable and i did fail him in his last fight where he was submitted by Gabriel Santos
Ramon Tavares
Ramon Taveras is a powerful striker who keeps his hands low to protect from takedowns and then likes to counter strike his way in. He has incredible power and very fast hands. He stands southpaw and absolutely launches his power left with incredible speed. He does a great job mixing shots to the body and head while also pumping a jab. His takedown defense is ok and he has a decent get up game if he is taken down. He is coming off the loss to Davey Grant where he was chasing power and in turn ate 100 shots.
