Alice could be the real deal or she could be a cheap prop to juice a pretty weak women's division. This is a weird matchup. The UFC is definitely looking to promote the hell out of Alice. She already has her own hype posters up in Brazil and skipped both the Ultimate Fighter and Contender Series. She is a striker with a limited amount of MMA experience and they matched her up with someone who has 6 takedowns in her last 2 fights. They either really trust her takedown defense or have no respect for Montserrat's wrestling. I would full pick Montserrat if I didn't just watch her get 3 takedowns and still get out struck. So i will buy into the hype and pick Alice, but no way I bet here.

Alice Pereira

Despite misinformation on the internet, Alice IS NOT Alex Pereira's sister. But I can understand how people got there because she is a nasty striker. She is long, lean and powerful as hell. She is only 19 years old but has been competing for some time now. She is primarily a striker with speed and power, but she can grapple as well. She has great hips and incredible ground and pound. She is a very hyped prospect in a division that needs star power

Montserrat Rendon

Montserrat Rendon is a grappler who will stay in your face with a jab and look to work in takedowns. Her striking is stiff and long but she has a tight guard while plotting forward. She doesn't have big clean wrestling takedowns, but does have solid clinch work with trips. Those takedowns have worked well for her in her last couple of fights, but the striking didn't. She is coming off the loss to Daria Z where despite getting 3 takedowns her strikes were doubled
