I hate Sam Patterson's fight style. He keeps his chin straight up in the air and is wide open to be cracked. His skills are solid and he can fight anywhere, but he is not defensively sound enough to engage as quickly as he does. I also hate Trey's inactivity, for someone to be as big as he is at this weight class and not have made this weight for over a year is a problem. I would hate to pick Trey here based off of his skills and general dog style just to see miss weight or fade after 30 seconds. I'm going to put my neck out there, no shade intended for sam's long ass alpaca neck, and pick Trey. He is an absolute dog and think he can keep this standing.
Sam Patterson
Sam Patterson is a very tall and long striker. He is an insane 6'4 and while he does not use his length well striking, he does use it really well on the ground. On his feet he has accurate boxing and because he is so long can have some power as well. His takedown defense needs work but as I mentioned, he uses his length very well on the ground and is constantly wrapping something up and looking for a submission. He is coming off the knockout win over Danny Barlow
Trey Waters
Trey Waters is an absolute monster at welterweight. He is an insane 6'5″ tall and doesn't have a lanky build. He is a long striker who will pump a jab and try to keep range. He does get a little cocky and keeps his hands low, but he is fast, dangerous and will be a problem for a lot of people who can't work their way inside the reach. He is coming off the back and forth war with Billy Ray Goff and a year away
