I like Charles Johnson. Charles Johnson is a good fighter. Charles Johnson is a friend of the show. But Charles Johnson must've slept with Mick Maynards mother or something because the UFC hates his guts. He keeps getting matched up with undefeated prospects and killers. This is a tough ass fight for Charles. I'll be rooting for him, but this is an uphill battle. Lone'er is stupid fast and will transition to wrestling on a dime. For Charles to win, he needs to get busy early and stay in Lone'er's face. Charles is a like a Diaz where can fight forever and gains steam as fights go on, but with only 3 rounds, he can't give up the first and second moving around and finding range. I think the odds are wide, but i do think Lone'er gets it done.

Lone'er Kavanagh

Lone'er Kavanagh is a fast past striker with incredible movement and speed. I almost can't emphasize the speed enough here. He also has raw power so that combination has been working well for him. He doesn't chase KOs and has enough cardio to fight for a full 15 minutes. He can grapple as well with solid takedowns and great damage from top. He is coming off the decision win over Felipe dos Santos where he ate a huge shot early and transitioned to wrestling.

Charles Johnson

Charles Johnson is a busy, technical striker with decent takedown defense and really nice hand speed. He has nice output at almost 5 significant strikes per minute and can keep that pace for 15 minutes. He is 6-5 in the UFC but all 5 losses are to quality fighters. He is one of the most active fighters on the planet and looking for an underdog win. He is coming off the loss to Ramazon Temirov where Temirov's power and pace squeeked out a close one.
