This actually isn't an awful matchup for Alexander. Chase in al likelihood will need to get the takedowns to win here and Alexander has solid takedown defense. Even though he is wildly inconsistent he is still a talented guy who has fought the tougher slate of competition. I am going to slight lean Chase here because the heigh advantage and the raw BJJ advantage may work well for him. But Alex at +3.5 may be solid work. I know Moicano submitted him but he should have good enough BJJ defense here.
Alexander Hernandez
Alexander Hernandez is a tough to break down because he is very good, very well rounded but very inconstant. He is very explosive with actual skills. He is a solid wrestler and an athlete with power and speed. But he does struggle to put it all together at once. He is a little under sized for the division but he makes up for it with speed and cardio. He is coming off the decision win over Kurt Holobaugh where he needed to wrestle because he was getting touched up on the feet.
Chase Hooper
Chase Hooper is a very slick grappler with improving takedowns and striking. It wasn't long ago that his takedowns didn't exist and neither did his striking. But just a few years into his UFC career and he isn't quite the baby faced dweeb the persona would have you think. He has looked great at 155lbs and is pretty large at 6'1. He is coming off the grapple heavy win over Jim Miller
