This should be an easy Bashi pick and bet here. He was already on the card, he has great wrestling, a solid chin and should be able to do what he wants here. Obviously anyone who has as clean of striking and as much power as Yannis can find their spot, but I think the skill gap is far too wide in the grappling. Bashi is the pick and depending on the odds here, i would expect a bet.

Austin Bashi

Austin Bashi is is only 23 years old but is 13-1 with a wide array of wins. He has very good striking, very good grappling and all around very solid. He is definitley a better grappler than striker with very real takedowns. He has no problem shooting open mat takedowns and then reshooting if he missed it. As soon as he is tied up he is working for a takedown but has no problem pivoting to a submission if the opportunity is there. He is coming off the very close loss to prospect killer Christian Rodriguez

John Yannis

John Yannis is a powerful striking who is very vocal about workin on his takedown defense. He does a nice job staying mobile and having clean boxing. He is a southpaw which can throw people off and he sends a beautiful inside leg kick from the back leg. He has clean technique and solid power, but is closer to one dimensional than he is well rounded.
