Yanal is a guy that I have had success with in his past. I picked him both times he was an underdog against Sam Patterson and Trevor Peek. We don't have odds yet, but he is likely a dog here too, but this time I won't be picking him. I am going with the cannibal in this matchup. Nurullo bit Alves and got away with it, so he might have some karma waiting for him, but assuming the MMA Gods let it slide, Nurullo should be able to get the takedowns and win a pretty straight forward decision with plenty of control.
Nurullo Aliev
Nurullo Aliev is a dominant wrestler who has been competing his entire life. People love to compare him to Khabib and thats not a crazy comparison to make. Sure, he hasn't accomplished anything in this sport, but as far as style and execution are concerned, he has the same forward wrestling pressure style. He has decent striking as well where he is light on his feet and pumps a jab to work in for takedowns. His takedowns are powerful and relentless but aren't the fastest. He is coming off the win over Rafael Alves where a point was deducted for an alleged bite.
Yanal Ashmouz
Yanal Ashmoz is a well rounded guy who does a great job adjusting in fights. He will come out striker first, throw heavy, work in spinning attacked and then adjust to wrestling if he isn't' have the success that he expected to. He has a solid chin, a very solid base and can be heavy on top. There is nothing explicitly amazing about Yanal, but he is strong, powerful and can grind wins out. He is coming off the grapple heavy win over a terrible Trevor Peek where just a little bit of technique went a long way.
