This is a great Contender Series card that I am really looking forward to. So far this season my picks have been great and I am coming off a card where my picks went 3-2, with 4 of those picks being low confidence, and 2 of those wins coming from underdogs. I advised to not bet on last weeks card and to save it for this week, because this is a card I am much more comfortable with. It is overall a higher level card and I have a couple high confidence picks.

Note: I am very busy with University at the moment – I just had an exam a couple hours before typing this and I have 3 assignments due next Monday/Tuesday. I will finish this article in 24 hours on Friday NZ time. For now I will just post my picks and confidence and will finish the full write up tomorrow like my other articles.

BAILEY SCHOENFELDER (5-0) vs. DANYLO VOIEVODKIN (6-0) – Heavyweight

Very shaky heavyweight fight that takes place on the feet most likely. Someone probably gets finished early. Danylo has championships in Karate in Europe but his striking doesn't look that technical and all he is doing is beating up fat guys. His fights are quite funny to watch at least.

Pick: Bailey Schoenfelder by KO/TKO in round 1. Low confidence.

DANIEL FRUNZA (8-2) vs. VADYM KUTSYI (17-1) – Welterweight

Frunza has accepted this fight on short notice. There is a huge gap in skills in the grappling. Hopefully Kutsyi decides to take the fight down as he is somewhat sloppy on the feet.

Pick: Vadym Kutsyi by round 1 submission. Medium-High confidence.

FRANCESCO MAZZEO (4-0) vs. KEVIN CHRISTIAN (8-2) – Light Heavyweight

This fight is very low level. Either Mazzeo wins by KO or Christian wins by sub. Pick your poison.

KEVIN VALLEJOS (13-1) vs. CAM TEAGUE (7-0) -Featherweight

I really like Vallejos here. His boxing is sharp especially in the pocket. He looked good against Jean Silva on DWCS and that loss has ages well. Teague was getting smoked by Austin Lingo who gassed out after beating the lights out of him. I think Vallejos' cardio can hold up better.

ROSE CONCEICAO (7-0) vs. ALEXIA THAINARA (10-1) – Women's Strawweight

Haven't picked women's fights well this season so this could be a fade. Rose is a multiple time national wrestling champion in Brazil. The problem is she has kind of abandoned her wrestling recently and her striking isn't great. She fights a high volume striker in Thainara. Another hard fight to pick.

Pick: Rose Conceicao by decision. Low confidence.
