We’re back after taking a hiatus last week. UFC 284 was really good to us and I actually like the card we got this week. Krylov and Spann will definitely deliver as a main event, we get the return of Tatiana Suarez, very curious to see how she comes out, the heavyweight banger in Sakai vs Mayes (sarcasm emphasized) and Trevor Peek gets the brawl. There’s some interesting spots on PrizePicks let’s dive into them;
TATIANA SUAREZ – MORE – 92.5 FANTASY SCORE
It’s been over 1300+ days since we last saw Tatiana Suarez grace the octagon. She was one of the best female prospects the UFC has ever had, the best wrestler in my opinion for sure robbed years of her career by various injuries. If we get Tatiana of old, she’ll walk through Montana here easily. She averages over 100 fantasy score in her six UFC fights against really good competition. It’s all about which version of her shows up after a long layoff. I’m going to bet on her landing multiple takedowns per usual and eventually getting the finish.
NURULLO ALIEV – MORE – 89.5 FANTASY SCORE
Here’s another one of these newcomers facing a solid veteran. Alves has fought some good competition in the UFC, likes of Drew Dober and Damir Ismagulov and showed decent accounts of himself in losing efforts. Aliev though has the Khabib fight style that is so favorable for fantasy scores. He averages about six and half significant strikes per minute and three and half takedowns per fight. Alves boasts an okay takedown defense at sixty percent but Aliev will be the bigger guy in the cage with a two inch height advantage and a four inch reach advantage. This fight is very winnable for Aliev and his fantasy score is a little too low.
AUGUSTO SAKAI – MORE – 10 FIGHT MINUTES
This is your intermission/bathroom break fight. I fully expect this fight to be an ugly heavyweight slugfest where both guys will spend a majority of the fight staring at each other. Mayes could also land takedowns and just lay on Sakai who has zero get ups. Overall I expect this fight to suck.
MIKE MALLOT – LESS – 101.5 FANTASY SCORE
This one is scary and honestly I’ve flip flopped on both sides of it but Yohan is slightly being slept on here. Mike Mallot carries power in his hands and has some really good Brazilian jiu jitsu, he could end this in the first round like most of his fights but if he doesn’t win early, his cardio is still a massive question mark. Now Yohan isn’t the best cardio guy either but he’s improved massively and will be favorite to win the longer this fight goes. Yohan has power on the feet too and Mickey Gall was touching up Mallot on the feet that should tell you everything you need to know about Mallot’s striking defense, Yohan is live for a late finish.
